Nergal
This vehicle was listed in Babylon Center documents under the abbreviation NrGLL-8 and was thought to have been lost during experiments on travel into the deep phase of Mirium subspace. However, the tank was retrieved together with its crew, and now it bears the name Nergal in honor of the Babylonian god of the underworld. The vehicle is almost completely covered in drawings and inscriptions telling of Nergal and his descent into Irkalla, the land of the dead. One of its crew members applied the images while in the deep phase, affected by Mirium and the realization that they would never return home.
After Operation Dark Tower was completed, the tank and equipment from the Center were sent to a military committee, which took over management of further developments. Following their prolonged exposure to Mirium and its effects on their psyche, the Nergal's crew required urgent rehabilitation. Nevertheless, immediately after completing it, they expressed their desire to return to duty in the tank. Their request was granted...
